Hey Mary Jane (HMJ), a wellness brand which specializes in thoughtfully formulated holistic products, announced that their founder Jaime Alefosio has now received her board certification as an Exponential Health Coach. Jaime says that this is a significant achievement for her personally and for the HMJ brand, as she plans to use her new knowledge to continue the brand’s mission of empowering individuals through integrative wellness practices.

Jaime, who has struggled with chronic pain from long-undiagnosed Lyme disease for years, founded HMJ to help others elevate their wellness journey. In her early twenties, Jaime was often prescribed painkillers, opiates, and muscle relaxers, which came with unpleasant side effects. She was frustrated with Western medicine—and the lack of focus on healing—so she sought out alternative approaches.

However, even then, she continued to suffer symptoms such as mood swings, body aches, inflammation, brain fog, and extreme exhaustion. It was at this point that Jaime started incorporating holistic practices into her life—yoga, diet changes, and herbal remedies, among others. Soon after, she started looking into autoimmune disorders and was finally diagnosed with Lyme disease, by an integrative doctor. With a holistic approach which included vitamin IVs and ozone therapy, she finally started to feel better. She also explored spiritual healing in Peru and believes that the healing from Kambo is what provided the most profound shifts in her health.

Jaime credits her recovery to holistic, integrative wellness and intends to spread the message of its benefits through HMJ—offering products which are designed to provide effective relief without the side effects commonly associated with traditional medicine.

“Through my journey, I have learned the importance of advocating for oneself and exploring alternative approaches to healthcare,” she adds. “I would bet every person can find a commonality of health and struggles in my story—and that’s why I’m here.”

Now a board-certified exponential health coach, Jaime will continue using her knowledge to advocate for natural health solutions which address modern problems such as stress, hormonal imbalances, and chronic inflammation.
