Thermo International has announced the release of the IS001B (Serial Number 24-284) – it’s new Induction Heating Supply, which has been in development for the past several months. This new induction power supply boasts exceptional electrical efficiency exceeding 95% and incorporates an advanced cooling system that minimizes water consumption for cooling. The output coaxial cable is engineered to deliver sufficient water for high kilowatt load applications while ensuring safety with its electrically insulated rubber boot. So as a welcome breath of fresh air, the IS001B (Serial Number 24-284) will include a 120 kilowatt power supply with a 2-12 KHz output, 380-575 volt 3-phase (non-phase sensitive) input and 0-144 amps on 480 volts 3 phase. It has an all-aluminum TIG welded 6061 frame weighing approximately 950 pounds and an upgradable PLC-based interface. Clients have raved about the HMI (human machine interface) as well as the front & back mounted indicator lights.
