The ceremony will mark the start of a new neighborhood development, Young Village, being developed by The Michaels Organization, the Army's private-sector partner responsible for the privatized family housing on post.

A ceremonial groundbreaking for Young Village, the largest new home development at Fort Belvoir since the initial development plan concluded in 2010. Young Village, 200 three-story attached townhouses, all with first-floor two-car garages. The three- and four-bedroom layouts and spacious 2,500+ square feet homes will emphasize comfort and functionality, offering high-quality finishes throughout, beautifully appointed kitchens, and outdoor balconies. The neighborhood features include play spaces and a dog park, along with walking paths.
