On display at Pack Expo Las Vegas 2025 (booth W-1564), the Videojet 7920 UV laser marking system boosts ease-of-use, flexibility, and reliability in coding operations.

In booth W-1564, and in more than 50 OEM partner booths throughout the exhibition, Videojet will feature live demonstrations of real-world coding and marking applications. Booth highlights include:

Continuous Inkjet Printers (CIJ)

Videojet CIJ printers enable the variable data printing of codes and product information on packaging while running at production line speeds. CIJ solutions to be featured in the booth:

  • Videojet 1880 +: Showcasing intelligent diagnostics, smart alerts, and remote service capabilities, the 1880 + is designed to help reduce downtime and optimize performance. At Pack Expo, the 1880 + will print live while integrated with a Web Techniques WT-35VS Vision Capable Rewind System.
  • Videojet 1580 C: Delivers bold, high-contrast yellow codes on dark glass, plastic and flexible substrates—ideal for beverage packaging and other consumer goods.
  • Videojet 1880 UHS: Supports ultra-fast coding for high-throughput lines, helping manufacturers meet demanding production requirements.
  • Videojet 1880 HR: Prints sharp, micro-sized codes and multiple lines of information in compact spaces, supporting product traceability.

Laser Marking Systems

Videojet laser technologies deliver permanent, high-quality 2D codes and other variable data on packaging with speed and precision.

  • Videojet 7920 UV laser: Integrated with a VDL UVA Dynamic Hydro VFFS machine in the Videojet booth, the 7920 will mark high-contrast codes on curved metal and heat-sensitive plastic without compromising the integrity of the product.
  • Videojet 3350 CO2 laser:Exhibited both as a standalone solution and integrated with the Viking Masek ST600 stick pack machine and Web Techniques WT-35VS, the 3350 laser will demonstrate multi-lane marking capabilities and excellent performance on flexible packaging.
  • Videojet 7440 fiber laser: Designed to meet the demands of manufacturers working in tight spaces, the 7440 features the innovative LightfootTM marking head, the most compact fiber laser marking head available on the market. In the Videojet booth, the 7440 laser will execute an annealing reaction on metal.

Thermal Transfer Overprinters (TTO)

Engineered for flexible packaging, Videojet TTO solutions combine speed, durability and efficiency to meet the demands of high-volume production.

  • Videojet 6530: Featured on the Web Techniques WT-35VS in the Videojet booth, this printer produces sharp, durable 2D codes directly on packaging film. Built for high-speed environments, the 6530 helps reduce waste and streamline operations with minimal operator intervention.

Case Coding Solutions

Videojet case coding technologies help simplify logistics while enhancing print quality, traceability and compliance.

  • Videojet 2380 large character inkjet printer: The Videojet 2380’s integration capabilities will be highlighted through a dual-head application, featuring streamlined data flow, coordination with a Cognex® barcode reader, and code printing that can facilitate regulatory compliance. Designed for efficiency, the 2380 can support up to four printheads with a single controller, enabling multi-side case printing with high-resolution text, 2D codes, linear barcodes, and logos.
  • Videojet 9560 print-and-apply system: Also on display, the Videojet 9560 automates label placement with precision, streamlining end-of-line operations and helping to provide consistent, compliant labeling for distribution and retail environments.

Videojet will showcase advanced integration and communication capabilities at Pack Expo using Cognex DataMan 282 fixed-mount barcode readers. One camera will scan attendees’ badges to demonstrate dynamic job setup and custom printing with the Videojet 2380 printer, while another will validate printed barcodes in a leader/follower configuration. Designed for high read rates in challenging environments, the DataMan 282 enhances tracking and traceability while optimizing throughput in marking and coding applications.
