Lauren Balik Shares Google Search History in Viral Post, Loses Three Clients
NEW YORK, NY, May 08, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The move, which Lauren Balik described as "radical transparency" and "just cleaning out tabs," included no context, no warning, and no visible strategy. Among the searches:
• "How to invoice someone without sounding desperate"
• "Tax implications of unpaid wage"
• "When is it too late to transition debt to someone else"
• "Promo code synonyms to make it seem like a gift"
• "Project Monarch mind control symbols in ad logos"
• "MK-Ultra survivor forums not Reddit"
• "Client retention vs. emotional instability"
The list was posted in a three-part thread at 2:03 AM, sandwiched between a retweet of a FEMA zone map and a subtweet that simply read, "These platforms don't deserve me OR my mental health."
When asked why she would post something like this, Balik responded:
"I was looking for a way to humanize my work. Turns out that was a mistake."
The post, which received hundreds of impressions and a handful of pity likes, was not deleted. In fact, Balik later pinned it to the top of her profile.
A few hours later, she added an update:
"Down three clients. Up one weird email. Honestly fair."
No apology has been issued. No clarifications are forthcoming. Lauren Balik is not currently booked. There is no waiting list.
